About
Addressing modern environmental issues necessitates drawing knowledge from multiple scientific disciplines. The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management was the first in Israel to recognize the need for interdisciplinary environmental management studies in the higher education system. Since 1998, we have been training graduate and post-graduate students to become sustainability professionals. Today, our alumni hold key positions in environmental research and management in Israel.
The department belongs to The Herta and Paul Amir Faculty of Social Sciences and grants a Master of Arts (with or without a thesis) and a doctorate in Natural Resources and Environmental Management. The M.A. offers two specialization programs focusing on Energy Policy and Management and Urban Sustainability Management. The department also has, in conjunction with the School of Business Administration, an international program in English, granting an MBA degree with a specialization in sustainability.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts with a minimum grade point average of at least 80.
- Department interview.
- Other requirements specified on the department website.
