About
Service organizations and service processes are an important component of modern society in the world in general and in Israel in particular. People spanning across all of the social spectrum receive services from public, business, and voluntary organizations, whose quality and characteristics are highly important for the state and for society in general, as well as for the welfare and quality-of-life of individuals. In addition, service organizations constitute the largest part of employers in the Israeli economy, but they are undergoing many rapid changes. In light of this, the Department aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of issues and processes in the unique area of human services, to contribute to their ability to become effective employees and advance in the executive ranks of this dynamic field, and to advance the theoretical and professional knowledge and the quality and variety of services provided to citizens in all sectors of the economy.
