Master’s degree in Biblical Studies
The Department of Biblical Studies enables students to expand their knowledge of the cultural background of the biblical world, and of the Bible’s influence on Jewish creativity throughout the generations.
Studies include: Research of biblical literature in modern times; the history of biblical times (Israel and the peoples of the Ancient East); the language of the Bible and related languages; beliefs and ideologies; the text of the Bible; ancient translations; Jewish interpretation; the Bible’s place in the history and culture of Israel.
Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, History, Teaching, or Archaeology, with a minimum grade point average of 76 for the non-research track (without thesis), or 80 for the research track (with thesis).

The Bible in the Mirror of Archaeology (in conjunction with the Department of Archaeology)
Employment options upon graduation: Tourism, teaching in schools and in SHELACH (FNS – Field, Nation, Society) programs (for holders of a teaching certificate), academic research, biblical language research, museums, working alongside archaeologists.
