The program aims to train academics and clinicians to extend the body of research in the language, speech, communications, and hearing sciences and their subfields, including: language studies, communications studies, speech studies, hearing studies, brain research, health sciences, and medicine. The program encourages innovation and excellence in research and equips students with the skills needed to conduct research in relevant fields, while helping them develop the theoretical and methodical tools unique to these fields.

Programs
The program will train academics and clinicians to extend the body of research in language, speech, communications, and hearing sciences and their subfields, including language studies, the study of communications, the study of speech, the study of hearing, brain research, health sciences, and medicine. The program will encourage research innovation and excellence and equip students with the necessary skills for carrying out research in the relevant fields, while helping them develop the theoretical and methodical tools unique to these fields.
The program accepts students with a Master of Science (with a written thesis) in Communication Disorders or related fields, and doctors with an MD (Doctor of Medicine) who meet the conditions of acceptance below. Students with a Master of Science or Arts in other fields who meet the conditions of acceptance, will be required to complete supplementary courses as decided by department’s Doctoral Committee.
Employment
Post-graduation employment opportunities: Graduates will be able to diagnose and treat patients with different communication disorders. In addition, they can seek employment in healthcare and educational institutions, as well as academic research and teaching.
